Our consulting winemakers

These are just some of the winemakers who you can partner with at BC Wine Studio.

Pascal Madevon

Pascal Madevon grew up in Paris, spent his childhood weekends in Burgundy and eventually relocated to Bordeaux. There, he was classically trained as a viticulturist and oenologist. He’s been the Winemaker
at St-Estephe’s Château Laffitte Carcasset and Technical Director of Château la Tour Blanche, a cru bourgeois domain, to General Manager of Château la Tour Carnet, a classified growth in Médoc. In 2013, he joined Culmina Family Estate Winery to craft wines that best showed the terroir of the Okanagan. To this day, his mission is to unleash, from the terroir, the true signature of each and every wine.

Christine Leroux

Christine, originally from Montreal, studied at the University of Bordeaux. After three years, she received a National Diploma of Enology and followed it with practicums at Petrus and Chateau Margaux, then did some consulting work in Entre-Deux-Mers. From there, she continued her wine-inspired travel by working a harvest in Australia, then started working with J. Lohr Wines in California. In 1996, Inniskillin hired Christine as their winemaker. She subsequently established the red wine program at Gray Monk Estate Winery, then worked with St Hubertus Estate Winery. In 1999 she started consulting with smaller properties and teaching winemaking at Okanagan College.
